UCC Receives Recognition for Excellent HSE Performance on QP District Project

UrbaCon Trading and Contracting (UCC) was recognized for its excellent and efficient HSE Performance for the QP District Project. The certificate of appreciation was awarded by state-owned, oil and gas company Qatar Petroleum (QP) and was received by UCC’s HSE Manager, Mr. Andrew Hay on behalf of the entire HSE and PMT teams.

The recognition reflects the team’s efforts in applying and adopting HSE’s best practices. Mr. Wayne Oliver, UCC Holding’s HSE Director is cognizant of the team’s hard work in implementing the company’s vision of “Safety Comes First”. As a Grade A company, the group continuously strive for the highest standards in safety, with a group of top-notch people implementing HSE’s best practices and innovation.

Led by UCC Project Director, Mr. Ahmad Ghrer, the QP District project encompasses full fit-out works for QP Tower 10, as part of the 10 state-of-the-art high-rise building construction of the QP Headquarters. Located in West Bay, Qatar, the project was designed to be a world-class landmark, establishing an integrated QP presence within Doha.
